Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to have 8 people in order to participate in the experience? 

No.  The minimum number to participate is two, however, it is recommended that up to eight guests participate in any individual experience to get the maximum result.  If you have less than eight guests and do not wish to participate with anyone else, you will need to purchase the remaining tickets; otherwise you could be scheduled with others to make a total of 8 participants.

How long are the experiences? 

The show is scheduled for 60 minutes unless an escape is made before the end of 60 minutes.

What is the cancellation policy?

Unfortunately, refunds are not allowed. However, we do realize that situations may arise that would warrant rescheduling your experience.  As long as you call 48 hours prior to the start of your event, you will be able to reschedule and no additional fees will be charged.  Please keep in mind that rescheduling can affect the experience for others who have also scheduled their event at the same time.

NO SHOWS WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

When should I arrive for my experience?

In order to allow for any additional paperwork and instruction prior to beginning your experience, we ask that you arrive no less than 15 minutes prior to the start of your event.

What if I arrive late? 

Unfortunately, if there are others scheduled for the same event who arrive on time, the event will begin on time. Once the door closes, no one will be permitted to enter. Because there are no refunds issued, you should plan to arrive early, or call ahead at (517) 467-2300 within the 48- hour time period to reschedule.  This will minimize the risk of forfeiting your reservation.

Can we book through the phone?

It is recommended that you make your reservation online, however, someone is always available by phone to answer any questions you may have.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards.  Please keep in mind that your reservation is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Can we bring our belongings into the room?

No personal belongings such as outerwear, cell phones, purses, backpacks, etc. are allowed in the escape room. It is highly recommended that you make arrangements to have these kept in your car.  We will be happy to hold onto your belongings, but will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Is there an age limit to participate?

Depending on the type of show, it is recommended that no one under the age of 12 be permitted to participate.  Some shows may reserve the right to increase this age to 15 depending on the content of the experience.

Do you take walk-ins?

We cannot accept walk-ins at this time. 

Can I pay in person?

When you make your reservation online, you will be required to make your payment at that time, in order to hold your reservation. We do not take in person payments. 

Can I schedule a private show just for my friends or my organization? 

Yes.  You can reserve your event on-line by purchasing all eight tickets for that particular event.  In order to maximize the experience and space available within the escape room, you will not be permitted to add any additional guests beyond eight, and will need to take this into consideration when reserving your spot.
